Treating Bedwetting in Children
At the David Mulhall Centre we specialise in Retained Reflex Syndrome (RRS), which provides a practical understanding of the causes of bedwetting in boys and girls combined with an effective and individually tailored treatment programme.
Bedwetting or nocturnal enuresis is the unintentional passing of urine while the child is asleep, at an age when the bladder should already have control. Children normally bed-wet at young ages and while being potty-trained; however, when bedwetting happens after the child has already passed the training stage, then it can be a disabling and embarrassing disorder for the child.
Many parents go to their doctor or a developmental psychologist for this condition and can be frustrated by the outcomes. Our therapists believe Retained Reflex Syndrome (RRS), is at the root of neuro-developmental delay and the cause of many childhood and adult disorders including bedwetting.
Boys, girls and teenagers with bedwetting issues frequently respond successfully to timely and appropriate intervention. At the David Mulhall centre we provide the Mulhall Integration Programme (MIP), a range of techniques tailored to the needs of the individual child.
